THE ACTOR is private, creative, empathetic, flexible, and the most nondirective of the character types. They are well suited to occupations such as human resource associates, fashion designers and researchers.

THE ACTOR’S strongest personality indicators are in introversion, intuition, feeling and perception. Some areas may be more pronounced than others. The following information contains a broad description of their individual character ingredients.

THE ACTORS are generally quiet and self-reflective. They spend more time concentrating on internal thoughts than speaking. They are more likely to try and figure things out for themselves than to ask for help. Others may view this as being territorial. They have a relatively limited number of friends, but they tend to expend more energy on those relationships.
This character relies more heavily on gut feelings than on past experience. Others may view them as having their head in the clouds or as being free-spirited. They are imaginative people who are more intrigued with fantasy then facts. They spend more time contemplating about future possibilities than worrying about the here and now. They can be a great source of inspiration to the people around them.
THE ACTORS are also good listeners. They are more likely to put themselves in someone else's shoes before passing judgment. They are empathetic. Values and extenuating circumstances take precedence over policy. They seek out the good in everybody and insist on the humane treatment of all living things. They are well liked by others and have the ability to maintain intimate relationships.
In addition, ACTORS may appear to roll with the punches. They live life in the moment adapting to situations as they pop up. They are not quick to make decisions and like to keep their options open. Others view them as followers instead of leaders; however, their flexibility makes them good team members. Many of them have problems with commitment and prefer to keep things tentative or open-ended. They are often called or called upon at the last minute.
