THE DETECTIVE

THE DETECTIVE is quiet, cautious, meticulous and responsible. THE DETECTIVE is described as the strong and silent type more than the other character types. They are particularly well suited to occupations such as administrators, inspectors and researchers.

THE DETECTIVE’S strongest personality indicators are in introversion, sensing, thinking and judgment. Some areas may be more pronounced than others. The following information contains a broad description of their individual character ingredients.

  • THE DETECTIVE is generally quiet and self-reflective. They spend more time concentrating on internal thoughts than speaking. They are more likely to try and figure things out for themselves than to ask for help. Others may view this as being territorial. They have a relatively limited number of friends, but they tend to expend more energy on those relationships.
  • This is a conservative character that doesn't like to take risks unless absolutely necessary. Decisions are made based on past experience. They work best within the realm of factual or tangible. Spirituality is not a strength. They are considered to be very "down to earth" people. They search for the practicality in everything they do. Problems are dealt with in a timely matter and they seek out sensible and realistic solutions.
  • They are generally reserved, lacking, for the most part, spontaneity and impulsiveness. Others often view them as firm and impersonal. They make decisions analytically, carefully weighing out all the feasible options. They rely more heavily on principle than on morality or spirituality and they are somewhat predictable due to their methodical nature.
  • Generally, this is a take-charge person who lives by the motto, "If you want something done right, do it yourself." THE DETECTIVE is well organized, doesn't overlook the details and plans everything in advance. They work well with deadlines and like to complete one task before starting another. A sense of closure is important so all loose ends are wrapped up. They have no trouble making decisions and like to take care of their own business.
