Sensing
Shows a preference for trusting information received through the five
senses and noticing what is actual.
We gather information to make decisions. Intuition and Sensing are the terms
we use to measure the gathering process. For the Intuitive, abstract gathering
processes are trusted the most. For the Sensing types, literal, concrete data
are trusted the most.
We all have a different degrees of both functions. We use our Intuitive
processes when we discover a new way to do something, think about future
implications or read between the lines. Our Sensing processes are used when we
taste food, memorize a poem or follow directions.
