Without the hook or the lead, you've already lost your reader. Whether you're writing fiction or nonfiction, you only get one chance to reel the reader in. Students will learn to develop conflict that is 'interesting, attention-getting, and dramatic.' This four-week course, Opening Hooks, is intended for all genres, including nonfiction.
