Carol Malley

Carol Malley is a reporter for a daily newspaper. A published poet and fiction writer, her work has appeared in literary journals and in anthologies. She is the editor of Raised Voices (1997), and Beyond Raised Voices (1998), and served as poetry editor of Peregrine literary magazine, Issues XVIII and XIX. An alumni of Amherst Writers & Artists, she is a certified Amherst Writers & Artists Institute and AWA workshop leader. She participated in AWA's Irish and American Writers Exchange Program in Amherst and Sligo. She was a lecturer in journalism at the University of Massachusetts, is a former president of the Valley Press Club, and wrote a play, "Dying for a Headline," produced by the press club. She had led writing workshop for inner city Latino teens, and workshops for low-income women.
