Karli Shanklin, or "Celt", as she is better known in the halls of WVU, lives in Seattle, Washington, with her husband and four children. She has been writing since she was a small girl, drawing much of her inspiration from her Celtic heritage and the abundant scenery of the Pacific Northwest. She has recently become a 'published' poet and is currently working on the beginnings of a fantasy romance novel. Here at WVU, she finds the feedback and support from fellow writers to be invaluable in keeping her focused and moving forward in her writing. In addition to writing, Karli's interests include gardening, hiking in the mountains, and all things Celtic, of course.
