After a snowstorm that downed trees yesterday I watched neighbors outside moving branches.  One man came up, I thought to help, but instead offered his services for "a price."  He wore a big grin and offered his card while watching us drag away a very large branch we could barely move.  He did not offer his help, not even when he saw I had trouble moving the branch.  Instead, when he saw our neighbors pull up he raced over and stood waiting for them to get out of the car.  He began his speech again, offered his card and jumped back in his truck eyeballing more people up ahead.

Not one neighbor offered another help other than my husband who offered his  to our neighbors on either side of us.  One said no thanks and did not even look up.  The other had tears in her eyes, surprised that someone would actually offer her a hand.

I thought to take a breather, but my mind would not allow such a thing.  Three days after ending Circles, Book two appeared.  There it was sitting in my chair, sleeping in my bed, next to me in my car.  Even the dogs made a comment that this thing spouting words followed us every were, even when we wandered past the prairie Dog town...it did not slip into a hole.

Chapter by chapter the new book creates me...

Seasons change and I change with them.  I am calmer in the fall and see life recede and ready itself for the long rest.  For me, it is not a long rest, but an awakening of my senses.  I hear a soft wind swirling about whispering ideas and I float along to see what they might be.

    It is these times that I really find myself after being lost, hidden away from summer's heat.  I begin to breathe and open my mind to the possibilities that be.  I look over at my few scattered beads that escaped their fate of being moved to a place where they can no longer tempt me.

I capitalize animals and plants out of respect, we are all related.   

Yea!  My Book Is finished and in my Editor's hands, (chewing knuckle now..no fingernails left.  I wrote just over 100,000 words thanks to WVU and my wonderful group members.  Hopefully, it will be an E-book in Late DEC at  http://www.rubystandingdeer.com.

Now... onto book two! 

Visions.  I had not seen my Spirit Guide in some time and that in not good.  It can mean I was ignoring her advice.  This morning I woke to the blaring alarm clock right in the middle of perhaps one of the most important visions I will ever have.

There is this...place I tend to wander in while dreaming and sometimes they become a vision.  It is a place filled with parts of me. Lazy people, people who ignore what's important, but also a place of good people. It has stores, apartments, and I always see more in this place I created. Many times I cannot get out and spend hours trying to find my way out. Today I did find my way out.

'Until one has loved an animal, part of their soul remains unawakened.'

This one thought has more truth to it than most people will ever understand.  I have learned more from my animals than any human.

    Gotcha. I hooked you in.  The hardest thing for me to do was take apart my first chapter. I thought it was perfect.  Nothing is perfect.  I have read many stories in books that left me flat.  They take way too long to get my interest, so they end up on a shelf-where I hope mine will end up. but only after it is read. 

   Some of the stories I have read in here have that great hook and I am reeled right in. Seems there are many good writers in WV. Thanks Bob, for your creation.  Why is it that a book can find its way past the editor and publisher to end up in a book store when I cannot get past the first boring chapter? Yet, there they are, waiting for fingers to reach for them and take them to the counter to be bought.

K.  I not a private person even if I act that way around people I meet.  I prefer animlas and my hubby for companionship. I do not make friends that easily . First impressions are what people go by and most never get any farther with me. I wear a hat with a colorful beaded hat band and Feathers are a gift so I usually have a few in my hat blended in my Sage.
